Google Gadgets are simple HTML and JavaScript mini-applications served in iFrames that can be
embedded in webpages.
They are created for webpage owners to add to their own webpages and for users to add to
their iGoogle homepage or to Google Desktop.

Google gadgets are small web objects that you can display on your website for
free. You can improve your site with the free content delivered by gadgets. These content-rich
gadgets catch the interest of your visitors and keeps them coming back
Google gadgets are easy to install. Just select the gadget you want, customize it to suite your need then copy-and-paste the HTML into your page’s source code. Reload to see the gadget on your page.
for iGoogle users
Customize the way to use Google.com, by adding our gadgets to your iGoogle page.
To add a widget to your iGoogle page simply click on Google button
under the widget (this will bring you to a Google page) and then press "Add to Google" button.
